St. Andrew’s Day Greetings from The Pipes of Christmas

“Here’s tae the auld hame far away!
While tender mists do blind us,
We’ll pledge on this St. Andrew’s Day,
The land we left behind us!”

While Scots around the world have started to embrace Tartan Day as their annual celebration of ethnic heritage on April 6 each year, virtually all Scots recognize St. Andrew’s Day (November 30) as their national holiday.

Next month, the 13th Annual “Pipes of Christmas” concerts will give all those of Scots ancestry, (or Irish and Welsh) and those who wish they were, a chance to celebrate St. Andrew and all that is Scottish. Come join us.
